Ski mountaineering | traverse from the Forno area
Over wide glaciers and cool ski slopes - the perfect ski touring area for Easter!
The Forno area is an impressive place that is made for ski touring. Varied ascents, unknown variants for descending, impressive landscapes. The Fornotal is located near the Maloja Pass in the Engadine, so it is a bit more secluded - a worthwhile visit at Easter, even for 4 days! We start from the Maloja Pass and do the most rewarding ski tours in the area, depending on the conditions. We stay overnight in the Forno Hut and the Albignia Hut, climb mountains such as Monte Sissone, the Cima di Rosso or the Cima dal Cantun.
