Ice and mixed climbing course level 3 - combined terrain, rock and ice with mountain guide

Efficient and economical climbing using ice tools and crampons in challenging rock and icy terrain are the focus of this course. We place special emphasis on hazard management, belay techniques, climbing strategies as well as minimising the risk of injury. In addition, we offer comprehensive training to increase performance and practical tips for successful training.

The course is held alternately in a drytool climbing garden and on icy terrain. Through on-site video analysis, participants receive immediate feedback to improve their skills right away. At the end of the first day, the experiences gained are reflected on together. A theoretical block deepens the acquired knowledge and creates a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

Venue & meeting point
- Area: Flexibility is very important for ice climbing, the area will be adapted to the prevailing conditions. All further information will be communicated in the week before the offer.
Requirements
- Mastering the basics of ice climbing
- You already have experience in ice climbing and feel comfortable in icefalls.
- Master the belay technique in multi-pitch routes on the rock.

- Takes place with up to 2 guests per mountain guide.
