Ascent to the Ruederstock

On the solitary crossing of the Rüderstock, we enjoy the magnificent cliffs of the Sewen region. In a great scramble, we first climb the stem and then the ridge to the summit. The scramble through the stem is in the 3rd degree of difficulty and varied, sometimes with a small crack, sometimes with a small grip and sometimes over a small belly. The stem is about 3 pitches long and then continues along the ridge to the summit. The ridge is nice and airy, but has a good grip and is stepped. Typical mountaineering terrain. On the summit we enjoy the view of the Uri mountains and the solitary mountain experience. The descent is by abseiling back to the hiking trail. If you have little or no experience of abseiling, this is not a problem. The mountain guide can also let you off and instruct you. A great round tour with everything you need for mountaineering.
