Summit of the Spitzmeilen in winter

The snow conditions are great - not much yet, but enough and very good quality snow! We take advantage of this on Friday to go on another fantastic ski tour in the best weather (...before the bad weather comes again at the weekend). With a short ascent (800 metres) we reach an impressive summit and magnificent ski slopes. We ski much further down (1500 metres) than we go up and are picked up by a taxi - are you there too? We drive from the Flumserberg ski area (ascent ~30.-) to the Wissmeilen basin. Now we climb comfortably over the wide slopes towards Spitzmeilen. We reach this summit in a short foot passage. The descent leads over north and east-facing slopes with a great gradient. We may have to carry our skis for the last few metres, but with happy faces we don't mind. A taxi picks us up and takes us back to Flumserberg.
