Zuestoll Old south face
Grandiose alpine climbing tour above Lake Walen!
This historic route leads through the "weak points" of the vertical Zuestoll south face. First climbed in 1948 and still one of the 100 classic extreme rock tours in the Alps today.
Most of the belays are on a ledge, but you should still be free from giddiness to be able to enjoy the panoramic view over Lake Walen. The key sections are in the 6b range and can be simplified to approx. 6a using quickdraws and slings. This means solid second climbing in the 6a range over several lengths. All in all: an impressive climbing tour on good rock with long-lasting memories.
