No special alpine touring course is necessary for the 4000 metres. It is sufficient to do a normal high-altitude touring course and have a decent level of fitness. Generally on alpine tours and also in the alpine touring course, the climbing sections are very easy. We therefore often refer to climbing on alpine tours as scrambling.
